432Hz Web Music Converter
This notice explains how 432Hz Web Music Converter handles selected-tab audio, browser permissions, local settings, product-service requests, operational events and Reviews. The core conversion graph is designed to run locally in Chrome.
The selected tab's live audio is processed in memory through Chrome tab capture, an offscreen Web Audio graph and AudioWorklet. It is not recorded, saved, exported or uploaded by the extension.
Preferences, recent tuned-tab metadata, usage counters and session state use Chrome extension storage. A JSON backup is created only when you choose Export.
Owned service and Aliyun logging endpoints may receive product configuration, account/payment status, explicit user-action events and Review choices. Audio and page content are excluded from those events.
What happens when you tune a tab
The extension is not a music recording tool. It changes the live playback path for the tab you selected and releases the capture when you stop the session or the tab is closed.
1. Data handled and purpose
Selected-tab audio
- The extension receives the live audio stream from the tab you explicitly tune through Chrome's
tabCaptureAPI. - Web Audio API nodes and the SoundTouch AudioWorklet apply tuning, speed, gain, pan, mono and EQ transformations in the browser.
- Audio samples and analyser values are held in memory only for the active processing graph. The extension does not create recordings, audio files, exports or cloud copies.
Local tab metadata and settings
- When you tune or save a current tab, the extension can store the tab title, URL, hostname, chosen frequency and timestamp in the local recent-library record.
- Settings include default frequency, conversion mode, gain, pan, mono, EQ, theme, language, in-player controller visibility and blocked hosts.
- Usage counters include successful tuning count and listening duration. Temporary per-tab state includes a tab ID and current audio parameters.
Explicit operational events
- When the SDK is enabled, ReForge and Aliyun endpoints may process install/update state, product configuration, explicit core actions such as tuning, frequency changes, settings edits, imports/exports, searches and Review choices.
- Event fields are limited to operation categories and small result fields such as frequency, mode, setting name, success state, version, language, timestamp, installation information or Review feedback you choose to submit.
- The extension does not intentionally include audio samples, page bodies, search terms, passwords, music-service credentials, payment-card numbers or complete media content in these product events.
Optional account and payment operations
- The audited build contains account and subscription code that is hidden while the product configuration remains free. If a future paid configuration enables it and you choose to use it, the ReForge product service receives the email address and password, one-time email code, reset request, or plan selection you submit for that operation.
- Authentication tokens and account state may be retained in extension storage so the product can keep you signed in. The extension does not include authentication credentials in ordinary tuning analytics.
- Checkout and customer-portal pages are opened only after your explicit action. Payment-card details are entered into the hosted payment flow and are not read from music pages or tab audio by this extension.
2. Chrome permissions and access boundaries
| Permission or host | Purpose | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
activeTab | Bind a user gesture to the tab selected for tuning | Used for the tab you act on, not for unrelated background browsing. |
storage | Save settings, recent library metadata, counters and local session-related data | Chrome local/session storage; audio is not stored. |
tabs | Identify the active tab, open user-requested music searches, observe tab changes and release closed-tab state | Tab ID/title/URL may be read locally to bind controls and recent records. |
tabCapture | Capture the selected tab's live audio | In-memory local audio processing; no recording or upload. |
offscreen | Host the persistent MV3 Web Audio and AudioWorklet graph | Audio engine only; it is not a page-content crawler. |
scripting | Apply and restore playback-rate changes for explicit Speed mode | Used on the selected supported tab's media elements; no passwords or page text are collected. |
contextMenus | Offer user-invoked toggle and tuning commands | Runs only after a command selection. |
sidePanel | Provide a persistent alternative control surface | Does not grant additional page access. |
| Supported music hosts | Show the optional in-player controller and support selected-tab controls on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, SoundCloud and Deezer | The controller uses extension messages and does not read account credentials or upload page content. |
api.reforgeextensions.com | Product configuration, account/payment capability and payment-success bridge | Core audio can continue locally if the service is unavailable. |
| Aliyun SLS endpoint | Limited explicit operational and Review events when enabled | No audio, page body, search term or credential payload is intended. |
432Hz Web Music Converter does not request <all_urls>, cookies, browsing history, bookmarks, downloads or browsingData permissions in the audited build.
3. Local storage, export and retention
- Settings, recent library metadata and usage statistics remain in Chrome extension storage until changed, cleared or removed through Chrome/uninstallation.
- Current-tab audio and temporary processing state remain in memory/session storage while the session is active and are released during stop/cleanup or tab close.
- Export creates a JSON file on your device only after you click the export control. Import reads the file you select and saves the resulting settings locally.
- The extension does not use Chrome Sync for the audited product data and does not maintain a server-side copy of your audio library.
- ReForge and Aliyun operational records are retained according to service operation, reliability, security, abuse investigation and legal requirements. This notice does not assert an exact retention period where the deployed service configuration has not established one.
4. Network destinations and third parties
ReForge product service
api.reforgeextensions.com can provide product configuration, announcements, account state, future plan gates, payment-success handling and Reviews-related support when enabled. The current product configuration keeps the core workflow open.
Alibaba Cloud / Aliyun Simple Log Service
When operational logging is enabled, the SDK can send limited install/update, explicit user-action and Review events to the configured Aliyun SLS endpoint. Analytics failures are designed not to block local audio processing.
Google Chrome and music services
Chrome supplies tab capture, storage, tabs, offscreen documents, Side Panel and Web Audio capabilities. The supported music services receive only the requests and playback activity generated by your own browsing and search actions; the extension does not ask for their passwords.
Website and support providers
When you visit ReForge Extensions or contact support, infrastructure and mailbox providers may process standard request or support information under their own terms.
5. Chrome Web Store Limited Use commitment
Data accessed through 432Hz Web Music Converter is used only to provide or improve the user-facing extension functionality, security, support and explicitly requested product-service operations. It is not sold, rented, licensed to data brokers, used for personalized advertising or remarketing, used to determine creditworthiness, or used to build unrelated user profiles.
6. Your controls and requests
- Choose whether the in-player controller is shown, add blocked hosts, modify audio settings, stop a session, or clear the extension data.
- Export or import your local configuration and recent-library data through the Options page.
- Dismiss a Review prompt or submit an optional rating and feedback when it appears.
- Clear Chrome extension storage or uninstall the extension to remove locally retained product data, subject to Chrome behavior.

7. Security, children and changes
- Remote connections use HTTPS/TLS, and extension scripts are self-hosted under the extension's content security policy.
- No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security. Protect access to your Chrome profile and device.
- The product is a general audio utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly use the extension to collect children's personal information.
