This privacy policy applies specifically to the browser extension TikTok Followers Export by ReForge Extensions and explains what user data is collected, how it is processed, where it is stored, and when it is shared.

Core purpose: TikTok Followers Export helps you export TikTok followers and following lists that you choose to access into CSV, XLSX, or JSON files with a clean local workflow.
Data collected or processed: TikTok profile/list URLs or handles you choose, visible followers/following list content, public or visible profile fields, export settings, local task state, downloaded export files, and support messages you voluntarily send.
Local-first design: list parsing, formatting, and CSV/XLSX/JSON generation are designed to run locally in your browser. ReForge does not receive your exported follower/following files by default.
Not collected: we do not intentionally collect TikTok passwords, authentication cookies, private messages, payment card numbers, unpublished drafts, unrelated page content, or your full browsing history. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Limited Use statement: TikTok Followers Export uses user data only to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve its single purpose: exporting TikTok followers and following lists requested by the user. We do not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, data brokerage, or credit-worthiness decisions.
1. Scope and Controller
This product-specific privacy policy applies to TikTok Followers Export, its extension UI, local list parsing/export actions, and support requests related to this extension. The main ReForge Extensions privacy policy at /privacy.html still applies unless this product-specific policy is more specific.

2. What User Data the Extension Collects or Processes
The extension processes the following categories of user data only for the purposes described in this policy.

3. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect
- We do not intentionally collect TikTok passwords, authentication tokens, authentication cookies, payment-card numbers, private messages, unpublished drafts, email inbox content, or private files from unrelated websites.
- We do not collect your full browsing history across unrelated websites. The extension processes only TikTok pages, profile/list URLs, or list data you choose to use with the tool.
- We do not require a ReForge account, login, payment card, or subscription for the core follower/following export feature described in this policy.
- We do not intentionally upload generated CSV/XLSX/JSON export file contents to ReForge. If you send such files to support voluntarily, we will process them only to answer your request.
4. How Data Is Collected
- User input: You may paste or type a TikTok URL, username/handle, export filter, or file format choice.
- Active tab detection: If you run the extension on TikTok, the extension may read the active tab URL and visible page context to identify the requested profile or list.
- TikTok page/list access: The extension may read visible page content, list rows, and related browser-accessible responses from TikTok for the follower or following list you choose.
- Local export generation: The extension generates CSV, XLSX, or JSON export files locally in your browser.
- Local storage: The extension stores preferences, local task state, and recent handles/URLs using Chrome extension storage on your device.
- Support email: We collect support data only when you choose to email us or send attachments.
- Website infrastructure: Our website providers collect request and security logs when you visit this privacy page or other pages on reforgeextensions.com.
5. How Data Is Used and Processed
- To identify the TikTok profile, followers list, or following list you selected.
- To collect the visible list rows that you requested to export.
- To normalize, deduplicate, sort, filter, and format follower/following records.
- To generate CSV, XLSX, or JSON files locally in your browser.
- To remember local preferences and recent task state.
- To troubleshoot failed exports, compatibility issues, or support requests you send to us.
- To investigate abuse, protect the extension and website, and maintain service reliability.
- To deliver and protect reforgeextensions.com and this privacy page.
We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, show personalized ads, retarget users, sell data, broker data, or make credit-worthiness or lending decisions.
6. Storage and Retention
6.1 Local browser storage
- Storage location: Chrome extension storage on your device.
- Data involved: Settings, selected export fields, recent TikTok handles/URLs, local job state, and UI preferences.
- Retention: Until you delete the data in the extension, clear browser/extension storage, reset the extension, or uninstall the extension.
6.2 Downloaded export files
- Storage location: The download folder or file location selected by you through your browser or operating system.
- Data involved: CSV, XLSX, JSON, and any other files you create with the extension.
- Retention: Controlled by you. ReForge does not automatically delete files saved on your device.
6.3 TikTok requests and platform logs
- Storage location: TikTok may process request metadata and account activity when your browser accesses TikTok pages or lists.
- Retention: Governed by TikTok's own policies, not by ReForge.
6.4 Support communications
- Storage location: ReForge Extensions support mailbox and email providers.
- Retention: Up to 24 months after the support conversation ends unless a longer period is required for legal, security, dispute, or abuse-prevention reasons.
6.5 Website request and security logs
- Storage location: Website hosting, CDN, DNS, or security providers such as Cloudflare.
- Retention: Up to 30 days unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, resolve incidents, or comply with law.
7. Sharing and Transfers of User Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer user data to data brokers, information resellers, ad networks, or unrelated third parties. TikTok Followers Export is designed so list parsing and export generation happen locally in your browser by default. Data may be shared only with the following parties for the reasons below.

8. Third-Party Services
- TikTok: Used only because the user chooses to access TikTok followers/following pages and export visible list data from TikTok.
- Chrome browser and extension APIs: Used to run the extension, read the active TikTok tab when you invoke the tool, store local preferences, and save files through the browser download flow.
- Cloudflare or similar website infrastructure providers: Used only for delivery, DNS, TLS, caching, and security for reforgeextensions.com.
- Email routing and mailbox providers: Used only to receive and respond to support messages you send.
TikTok Followers Export does not currently use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Stripe, Sentry, PostHog, Mixpanel, advertising SDKs, data brokers, payment processors, or external AI services for this extension.
9. Data Security
- Local extension data is stored through Chrome extension storage on your device.
- Follower/following list parsing and CSV/XLSX/JSON export generation are designed to run locally in your browser.
- Requests to TikTok, support systems, or reforgeextensions.com use HTTPS/TLS where supported.
- We limit access to support communications to people or processors who need access to respond to requests or protect the service.
10. User Choices, Consent, and Deletion
- You can stop collection related to an export task by not entering a TikTok URL/handle and not running a followers/following export task.
- You can delete local extension data by clearing the extension's local data, clearing browser extension storage, resetting the extension if the UI provides that option, or uninstalling the extension.
- You control downloaded CSV/XLSX/JSON files saved to your device. You can delete those files using your browser, file manager, or operating system.
- You can avoid support-email processing by not sending exported files, screenshots, or troubleshooting details to us.
- You can request deletion of support emails by contacting [email protected].
11. Limited Use Compliance
- Allowed use: We use user data only to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the extension's single purpose and user-facing features.
- Allowed transfer: We transfer user data only when necessary to provide or improve the extension, process the requested TikTok list in the user's browser, comply with law, protect security, respond to support you initiated, or complete a merger/acquisition/sale of assets.
- No advertising use: We do not use or transfer user data for personalized ads, retargeting, interest-based advertising, ad measurement, data brokerage, or sale of user data.
- No unrelated human review: We do not allow humans to read exported TikTok files or troubleshooting details unless you intentionally send that information to support, it is required for security or legal reasons, or it is necessary for internal operations with appropriate access controls.
12. In-Product Disclosure Text
To make this privacy policy easy to understand inside the extension, the extension should summarize the same disclosure in its user interface before export:
"TikTok Followers Export processes the TikTok profile/list you choose, visible followers/following rows, export settings, local task state, and generated CSV/XLSX/JSON files. Exports are generated locally in your browser. We do not sell data, use it for ads, collect TikTok passwords, or intentionally upload exported file contents to ReForge."
13. Children
TikTok Followers Export is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this extension.
14. Compliance With Platforms and Laws
You are responsible for using exported TikTok data lawfully and in compliance with TikTok's terms, privacy requirements, and any applicable rules for the people whose information appears in the export. Do not use exports for spam, harassment, unlawful profiling, or other prohibited purposes.
15. Changes
We may update this policy when the extension, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date or last updated date when we make material changes.
